  • Superior Vistas Bike Tour 2018 – Canceled

Hello Superior Vistas Bike Tour Participants,
We are sorry but after further conversations with Law Enforcement and US Forest Service, the Tour Committee decided it would be best to CANCEL the Superior Vista Bike Tour for 2018.

Due to the recent floods there are too many unknowns on the routes we use for the tour. Safety is our #1 priority.

With the recent washout on Hwy 2, Hwy 13 has now become the reroute for semi’s, and one of the reroutes for cars traveling to and from the West. Hwy 13 is the main road you cross at the beginning and the end of the tour. We are also concerned that the travel on 236 will increase even though it is not a detour, that road is not marked well and is narrow and windy.

Refunds for tour registration fees will be sent out next week.
Again we apologize for any inconvenience, but your safety is our highest priority!

We are already looking forward to next years tour, which will take place June 22, 2019.

Any questions or comments please contact ashchamb@centurytel.net.

Ride scenic, paved, low traffic roads.

Enjoy cruising the gently rolling hills with views of Lake Superior and the surrounding forest and countryside.

    Loops of 13, 19, 34, 52, 70, a 40 mile out and back and a century (100 mile) ride!

Fully supported ride with route map, support vehicles, and food/beverage stops en-route and at the finish.

Some routes overlap so you can decide to shorten or lengthen your ride as you wish.

Eco-friendly, family oriented RIDE, (not a race).
