Washburn is home to a number of award-winning restaurants. In 2020 three Washburn establishments were recognized by the Department of Tourism for being in the top 20 locations to enjoy fish fry in the state. Lake Superior Magazine has named many of our restaurants as Best of the Lake over the years too.

Or the coffee shop with a drive-up window for your joe on the go, we have your tastes covered. Not to mention the Irish Pub and the Brewery that uses the water of Lake Superior to make its handcrafted beers. Passport to Good Eats

Every year the Chamber hosts a month long event called Eat, Drink, Washburn. Eat, Drink, Washburn starts the 2nd week in May and ends the 2nd week in June. Participants gather stamps for a passport from participating businesses. Stamps are awarded when you spend $10 or more at the business. Collect at least three stamps and then you can turn the passport into the chamber to be entered into a drawing for $50 in Bay Bucks.
