SUMMARY:Art on the Farm: Create an Alpaca Felt Wall Hanging
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, July 20 1-2:30pm $35 \nSpend an afternoon with us as Linda Galow\, 19 year art teacher\, semi-retired alpaca farmer\, artist\, and summer staff at Suri Fina Alpaca Farm\, guides us through the creative process as you create a woven wall hanging from alpaca felt and other naturally inspired materials. \nLinda provides all the necessary materials including her handmade alpaca felt\, yarns\, driftwood sticks\, and tools\, but she strongly encourages participants to bring their own items to incorporate into the weaving. Suggested items to bring inlclude: driftwood pieces\, beads\, ribbon\, old jewelry\, yarn scraps\, scarves or bandanas to cut into strips\, ephemera and other small sentimental treasures. \nChill out and make art that you can take home. The alpacas will be nearby. It will be fun! Sign up on our website.
