SUMMARY:Spring Into Activities: Free Sporting Equipment Swap
DESCRIPTION:Whether you have hockey skates gathering dust in the garage\, knee pads your child has outgrown\, or soccer cleats in great condition just waiting for a new field\, this event is for you. All sports and all ages are welcome. Participants are asked to bring only items that are in good\, reusable condition — because one family’s extra is another family’s opportunity. “At Tamarack Health\, we believe an active community is a healthy community\,” said Tamarack Health Event Co-Chair Kevin Huybrecht. “Spring Into Activities is about breaking down barriers so everyone — regardless of budget — has the equipment they need to get outside and move. SUMMARY:Monthly Ballroom Dancing Lessons
DESCRIPTION:These ballroom group lessons will be on the last Saturday of each month. They will include 90 minutes of instruction\, followed by a 30 minute social dance time to practice what you have learned. No dance partner is needed. Admission will be a suggested donation of 15-25 dollars. Each new month will have a new dance. All classes will be held at the Washburn Meditation Center\, 325 Washington Ave. in Washburn.
