DESCRIPTION:Superior Vistas Bike Tour is an annual scenic ride through Bayfield County on mostly paved\, low traffic roads. \n\nThe Superior Vistas Bike Tour is back for 2025! Riders start in Washburn and enjoy cruising the gently rolling hills with views of Lake Superior and the surrounding forest and countryside. \nRoutes available include a 13\, 19\, 34\, 40\, 52\, and 70 mile loops\, a century (100 mile) ride. We are looking to add and or update routes for 2024. \nThis is a fully supported ride with route maps\, support vehicles\, and rest stops en-route. Some routes overlap so you can decide to shorten or lengthen your ride as you wish. This is a family friendly ride\, not a race. All ages and skill levels welcome including e-bikes. \nRegistration will open in April. \nInformation on start times will be located in the event notes section of the registration page. \n*Please note this ride runs rain or shine. We leave from City Hall/Pearson Plaza in Ashland\, WI at 6pm on Monday nights May-October for a 10-13 mile ride at an easy\, casual pace. Our rides often range from 12 to 25 people and are a great way to explore Ashland\, meet new friends\, inspire movement\, and gain confidence to ride! Helmets required\, and everyone is welcome!

DESCRIPTION:“Love Stories for the Lakefront”\, sponsored by Artists Squared Gallery and a grant from CBAC to Washburn Forward Together\, brings together visual artists\, poets\, and musicians to celebrate the treasure that is the public acreage and lakeshore in Washburn. Artists were called to show us their love of this part of our city through their arts. Opening Reception is July 2nd\, with other events to occur during the month leading up to Homecoming. Thanks to CBAC \, the Wisconsin Arts Board\, and the taxpayers of Wisconsin for the grant.

Meet some of the people who left their mark on the walls of Houghton Depot. Hear stories about the people who settled in the Town of Bayview in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

This slideshow presentation will explore the factors that have influenced the spectacular coastal landforms such as sea caves and arches that have made the Islands famous.
