As a community foundation our mission is to promote private giving for the public good in the Bayfield – Madeline Island – Red Cliff region. With contributions from individuals, families and businesses, we are building a permanent endowment from which the income is available to make grants to projects that enhance the quality of life in our area. Established in 2000, as an affiliate fund of the Duluth-Superior Area Community Foundation, donors can contribute, in any amount at any time, to the Unrestricted Endowment Fund. Or they can choose to create a fund to benefit a specific purpose or organization. We accept gifts of stock and other securities, real estate, as well as cash and bequests. All contributions are tax-deductible according to law.
