Artists on the Byway was named to highlight and support the many talented artists who live and work on the Bayfield Peninsula, a region circled by National Scenic Byway Highway 13. The gallery shows and sells fine art and fine crafts that reflect the lake, rivers, islands, sky, forests, plants, and wildlife of the beautiful Lake Superior environment. Gallery director and artist J.R. Lince-Hopkins will often be at the gallery and available for conversations with visitors who are interested in his work or the work of others in the gallery. A guided art experience, called Art Re-Visioning, is also offered to anyone interested in a short, personalized, brain-boosting look at art. Gallery hours are Wed. 11-7 and Thur.-Sat.11-5.
