Chequamegon Area Choir– “Community Voices in Harmony!”
The Chequamegon Area Choir was established in the Chequamegon Bay region of Wisconsin in 1973. This community chorus promotes two basic purposes: 1) Strive to maintain a high quality “professional” choral ensemble utilizing a varied repertoire of music, and 2) Provide a civic organization that has its foundation in camaraderie and pleasure between its members. There are no auditions required – rehearsals are “painless and penalty-free.” There is a wide range of musicality among our members. All who are 16 and older and enjoy singing and the company of others should feel encouraged to join our musical community. Rehearsals go from September through April, and two concerts (Christmas and Spring) are presented to the public. It is our hope that our future together will be filled with an abundance of music-making and long-lasting memories. Singing helps you find your inner voice!
Spring Concerts – Friday, April 3: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church-Ashland 7:30PM
Sunday, April 5: St. Louis Catholic Church-Washburn 4:00PM
