6-8PM Music in the Parks: Shantily Clad & The Low Hangin’ Fruit at Legion Park, sponsored by The Washburn Area Chamber of Commerce, Washburn Iron Works, and #2 Septic Pumping & Excavation.
Thursday, July 28
11AM-5PM The Merry Mermaid Makers Market will be open all weekend from 11- 5pm at 123 2nd Ave. W. Register for a free GIFT BASKET (valued at $50). *One entry per day with purchase. Winning ticket will be drawn Sunday 7/31 at 2pm.

9AM 5th Annual Shawn Berseth Memorial Fund Golf Scramble- 4 person teams $280. Includes 18 holes, cart & dinner. Apostle Highlands Golf Course.

9AM-3PM 12th Annual North Coast Car Show with live music by The Whitecaps at the Harbor View Event Center. Lions Club Food Truck on site, & “Fire & Ice” Root Beer Float Social and Fundraiser at 10am.
9AM Annual Lion’s Club Family 2-4 Person Teams Best Ball Golf Outing – Shotgun Start. Cost is $40/person and includes– 9 Holes of golf with cart, Men/Women Hole Prizes, Plaques – $100 for 1st place team, & Lunch. Lake Superior View Golf Course. Download Poster HERE.
10AM-4PM Greetings from Washburn Art Show @ Karlyn Yellowbird Gallery.
10AM-5PM Arts & crafts, face painting, information booths, Messiah Lutheran bake sale fundraiser & more at Wikdal Park. Live music by Drew Shamus1-3pm & performance by Eleve Elite Dance Academy students @ 5pm, hosted by the Washburn Area Chamber of Commerce.
10AM-5PM Grand Opening of Full Keel Coffee Roasters and AdventureUs at their new location- 101 West Bayfield St. Ribbon cuttingat 2pm. Celebrate with cake coffee & the prize wheel.
11AM, 12PM, 1PM FREE Historic Washburn Trolley Tours provided by Washburn Heritage Association – Departs from Washington Ave. in front of the Cenex gas station across from City Hall.
11AM-1PM Open House at Suri Fina Alpaca Farm. Walk the obstacle course & take selfies with the alpacas. Located at 31300 Engoe Road, Washburn.
11AM-4PM Harbor House Sweets: Chicken Mac N Cheese waffle cones (plain or buffalo), Ice Cream, Drinks & more. Brats, & Pulled Pork Sandwiches are a fundraiser for Ashwabay and Washburn Youth Baseball.
11:30AM-3PM FREE outdoor kids craft party at Kiddiwink Kids. Activities include making a floating cork boat or painting a Lake Superior rock (all while supplies last). In store specials and drawing for a fantastic creative kids gift! Located at 108 W. Bayfield St.
1PM Washburn Sharptails Baseball Game @ the ball park 200 S. 3rd St. East
3:30pm Grand Opening ceremony at The Club with ribbon cutting by the Washburn Area Chamber of Commerce. Refreshments and tours afterwards.
5-9PM Washburn Sharptails Baseball Fundraiser @ the ball park 200 S. 3rd St. East $20/person includes 1 meal (brats, burgers & sides) entry into the drawing for door prizes, and live music by Brett & the Little Big Show. 11AM-9PM Belltower Bar will have drink specials including $4 draft beers/cider and $8 frozen drinks. Youcan watch the water barrel fights from the patio.
12:30PM Tug of War-Teams of 4. Same day registration. All Ages Welcome.
1PM Water Barrel Fights -Teams of 4 to 6. Pre-registration preferred. $10 per team, $100 cash prize for first place. **If there are not enough teams the event will be cancelled.
6PM-8PM Live music at South Shore Brewery Taphouse by Unclaimed Freight
7:30PM Big Top Chautauqua: Brandi Carlile – A special solo performance
