Saturday May 30, 11am–2pm at WalkingTrail

All ages are invited to join the Washburn Heritage Association in celebrating Preservation Month at the Walking Trail, located in Westend Park. Activities include native plant garden tour, docents on the trail describing history of the lakefront, scavenger hunt for children and presentation about how the trail began. There will be music, food by the Lion’s Club and free popcorn and s’mores. Bring a chair and join in learning about the trail and celebrating its 50th Anniversary (yes the trail is 50 years old).
