Long Lake Plant Walk

The Bayfield Peninsula has many Micro climates. The Barrens are one of them. It is dry sandy and more acidic soil, being a host for a unique group of plants. Take a walk with Erica Macrum and learn the edible and Medicinal properties of the plants growing along Long Lake out side of Washburn, Wi. This walk will be along the trail that wraps around the lake. Bring bug spray, some will be provided as well. Walk will go on rain or shine.
