The Washburn Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot is back for another year! This fun family event will take place on November 28th. Pre-registration will open soon. Same day registration will start at 8am at the Washburn Chamber Office with the fun run starting at 8:30am. The cost is $30 per person through November 27th and $40 for day of registration. All proceeds go to Homecoming 2025. Don’t wait to register! Finishers will receive a special Washburn Homecoming hat while supplies last.
NEW THIS YEAR
In addition to the hats, you can order Turkey Trot T-Shirts this year too! You have a choice of short or long sleeve in sizes Small – XXLarge. The shirts are 100% cotton, so you will need to take that into consideration when you order as there will be no refunds or exchanges. The short sleeve shirts are $20 each and the long sleeve shirts are $25 each. You can order them when you register online. Images of what the hats and shirts look like below.
Participants may run or walk the course along the shore of Lake Superior. The Washburn Area Chamber office is home base providing walk in registration, start, and finish.
