Washburn Public Library

Come to the Washburn Public Library where you can relax and read, use our public access computers, research, or take your time selecting items to take home. The mission of the library is to provide the residents of Washburn and surrounding community quality books, media and programs that serve their informational, educational and recreational needs.

Washburn Cultural Center

Housed in the historic 1890 brownstone Washburn Bank building, the Washburn Cultural Center has art galleries, public and private meeting spaces, the Washburn Area Historical Society Museum, an antique store, an art and gift shop, and the Vinyl Vault, the South Shore’s only record store. Hours of operation vary by season.

Historic Civic Center Foundation (The Club)

The Club is a community recreation center that is being renovated to provide space, programming, and opportunities to gather together. Join in for activities such as pickle ball, youth basketball, and indoor winter walking. The Club will be open to the public at increasing levels as funding is secured and volunteers are available
