The Big Lake Orchestra is the Chequamegon Bay region’s community symphony, bringing together local musicians, symphonic music, and community since 2018. Like many good ideas, the BLO was first discussed over several pints of locally-brewed beer. Seven months later, they held our first Festival, celebrating the music of Wolfgang Mozart. Today, the Big Lake Orchestra brings local and regional musicians together under the expert leadership of Dr Russell Thorngate, supported by the generosity of their advertisers and sponsors.
