“If These Walls Could Talk” by Matt Simoneau & Lucille Strawn Sells
From grand Queen Annes to humble worker cottages, Washburn’s houses tell the story of a community built by loggers, merchants, fishermen, and families who helped shape the town’s identity. This illustrated presentation explores the architectural styles that define Washburn’s neighborhoods — from early boomtown homes to postwar designs — and reveals the lives and legacies of the people who lived within them. Join us for an evening of stories that connect architecture, industry, and community spirit across more than a century of Washburn history.
